When I first had the idea for this painting, I had just returned home from Dubai and had witnessed the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen in my life. The colours, the depth, the light it created, it was just so beautiful. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. So when I came home, I went straight to my studio and created this piece.
I used the deepest colour orange and pink pigments, resin and chrome liquid gold, I also added three separate layers to get the utter depth that I wanted to create. When you look at this painting, you will see a new light, a new shape, a new depth at every glance.
I used 3mm composite aluminium, with an MDF frame to the back of the painting, which creates a floating effect.

Using a solid white pigment, with a hint of pearl mixed with my top-secret liquid gold, Calacatta has a timeless aesthetic. Could be placed anywhere from the bathroom to a children’s bedroom.
With a 3D effect, created by the three separate layers of pearlescent balloon white and chrome gold veins. This piece is even more striking in person.

Mixed with a pearl effect pigment, over several layers using resin – Moonstone is a bright reddish-pink colour, almost like a raspberry incredibly striking piece of art.
